Little tings, little moments
Do you need a game changer? It is so easy to fall into negativism and pessimism when times are though. No matter how difficult it may seem, the sun will shine on you again. Maybe it's right there, sometimes we just can't see the forest for trees. Life is not always easy, sometime it takes unexpected turns, be patient, stay positive and things will get better. Let me give you some tips that'll help you keep darkness out of your self-reflection.
Why not make a journal or gratitude diary!
Writing down your thoughts and feelings, may help you stay positive and expand your awareness of what you are grateful for. In writing, thoughts become real, and you get a better perspective.
Journaling has been around for a long time and some people find it pelpful. It can lead to new insights and a deeper understanding and help you deal with bad stuff. Maybe find the strenght to follow your dreams.
The journal helps you find gratitude on days when everything seems hopeless. Gain new perspective of what you appreciate in life and what's important to you. It can help you focus on what really matters and help you identify values in your life. By setting goals you can track your progress.
You decide how simple or how complicated you would like it to be. You don't have to journal every day, start small, expand or improve the journal, whenever you feel like.
My experience with journaling was perhaps a bit different from what one usually associates with journaling. Every time I visited a relative in hospital, we talked about stuff and things to be grateful for, and I wrote it down. I'd like to think it gave strenght to fight the disease.
Gratitude!
Gratefulness can help us see opportunities and don't take things for granted. It could be the smallest ting and you only need a notebook or your PC. Learn to find joy in the story you are living. Write down and celebrate the little moments in your life. At the end of the week you might find that you have a lot to be grateful for.
Remind yourself of that gratitude is beeing aware of what you have, not what you do not have!
If you find it difficult, start with one thing you are grateful for and add more each day. Once you think of one thing it becomes easier to think of other things to add to the list. Try to write down at least three things that you are grateful for every day.
Write down if someone you appreciate, did something for you. Approach each day with a lense of gratitude. Stay positive, be happy!
There are so many beautiful reasons to be happy!
Make this day great!
